Step 1:
Pick a character from the Fur Trade. You may choose from a HBC Trader, a NWC Voyageur, a First Nations person (Male or Female), or woman from the Fur Trade. Once you have decided on your character, click on the title below the Process Tab (above) to reveal links to help you in the research and the construction of your diary entry. After you have exhausted the links provided for you, go to the Internet to find research of your own.

Step 2:
Using Microsoft Word, write a two paragraph diary entry based on your chosen character using the first person perspective.  A set of instructions (see assignment) has been provided for you to guide you through the process. Do not forget to create a bibliography for your assignment as I need to see what sources you used to create your assignment.  Go to the Citing Your Sources Page to access BibMe.org to create your bibliography. The majority of your sources will be from the Internet. You will need to use the Chicago style in citing your sources.  If you want to know how you will be graded, go to the Evaluation Page to see how you will be graded on this assignment.
