Youth Work in Trades In-School Orientation

Introduction

The purpose of this orientation is to ensure all young workers enter their workplace with skills and knowledge. Students need to be confident they are going to be successful at work while maintaining safe work practices. Safety is a partnership. All participants must be aware of their rights and responsibilities and be willing exercise them.

This orientation is meant to be completed in person with the Coordinator of the Youth Work In Trades Program. A student may also use this Lib Guide to successfully complete the program at home from a distance. There are 4 topics of discussion. At the end of each topic, students are required to complete a final assessment.
