Introduction

Learning ultimately supports the well-being of the self, the family, the community, the land, the spirits and the ancestors.
Learning involves recognizing the consequences of one's actions.
Learning requires exploration of one's identity.
Learning is holistic, reflexive, reflective, experiential and relational (focused on connectedness, on reciprocal relationships, and a sense of place).

 

Learning around Pink Shirt Day and Anti-Bullying is part of BC's Physical and Health Education curriculum:

  • Healthy choices influence our physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
  • Learning about similarities and differences in individuals and groups influences community health.
