School District 57 utilizes SiriDynix Symphony as our Integrated Library System (ILS).
Symphony is the back end and you may hear DLC staff refer to it.

Each of these provides an interface to the Symphony ILS.
Teacher-Librarians and other school library personnel only get access to the Circulation portion of any of these programs. All other parts of the ILS are dealt with by the District Learning Commons staff. In some other districts each school deals with their own acquisitions and cataloging parts of the ILS - however, this requires a trained library technician at each school site and is more prone to formatting errors in records. We keep standardized records by centralizing this work.
