This guide will show you how to save properly on the PGSS network to your home (H:\) drive. The example is using Microsoft Word but you will be able to follow equivalent steps in any program.
Step 1.
Use either the "File" button in the ribbon
And then select Save/Save As in the File menu
Or you can use the save icon
Step 2.
You will be asked to choose where to save to. Click on "Browse"
Step 3.
It will default to the Documents folder. This is not correct.
Make sure you change your save location by clicking on your home drive on the left side bar.
If you've done it correctly the path at the top of the save window should look like this (look for the H: to double check quickly):
