SNAP is a unique student friendly assessment and practice tool that enhances any balance math program. The templates and rubrics are simple, straightforward and provide a clear snapshot of learning evidence.
The practice component of SNAP is a very important aspect. SNAP is an assessment that can be used over and over again to build student fluency, confidence, comprehension and skills.
SNAP is intended for students in grades K-8.
The District collects and collates results in the Fall / Start of Semester (Assessment A) and Spring / End of Semester (Assessment B) to provide schools with information about students’ numeracy skills and strategies. Assessment A uses the skills from the previous grades learning outcomes i.e. Assessment A for Grade 4 uses the learning outcomes for Assessment B of Grade 3.
