Sections 5 and 6 of this assignment ask you to create an Academic Goal and a Personal Goal. When writing your goal, you can use the questions in the boxes as your guide.

1. Download the Careers 9 booklet in the box above. You also received it as an attachment in an e-mail from Mrs. Gilbert. You can complete it right on your computer. Before you start working, make sure you save it to your computer. Save the file as : Firstname Lastname- Careers 9 booklet.
Ex. Bobby Smith – Careers 9
2. Work through the booklet and answer the questions the best you can. Read the directions at the top of each section carefully so that you understand what you are ask to do.
3. If you are unsure of what is expected of you, it may help to look at the marking rubric. It is also attached to this e-mail. You will see that each section is marked out 4. The mark will depend on how well you completed each section.
4. When you have completed the e-mail, save it. Then send it back to me as an e-mail attachment.
Note: This is not a huge assignment. Most students finish it in about 2 class periods if they work well. You may choose to sit down and finish it all in one session or you can spread it out over a few days. I would like to have them all submitted by May 15.
