We are faced with many decisions in our lives, but one many of us make without even thinking about it is around our food and our choices. This isn't about whether to diet or go paleo or cleanse or anything else. This is about forming a lifelong understanding of what you eat and where it comes from.

How much do you know about the food you buy in the supermarket? Where did it come from? Who is getting what cut of the money from selling it? What kind of pesticides, genetic modifications, or other things have been done to the food before it reaches you? What food will you eat, what will you not eat? Is that your choice, your families, or your cultures?

How do you decide what to buy and what to say no to?

It's time to decide on your 'Food Philosophy'

What is your food philosophy?

Your philosophy is yours and yours alone. The only person you need to justify it to is you.

1. Read the information on each aspect

2. Form an opinion of where you stand

3. Which aspects matter more to you? Which aspects matter less?

* 4. Come up with a statement of your food philosophy (1-2 paragraphs on each aspect)*

5. Justify your philosophy to yourself

* 6.  Explain how you came to your overall philosophy and why it matters to you (1-2 paragraphs) *

Only the bolded numbers need to be turned in for marks. It will be obvious if you have done the others from those two. We will check in with you though and you are free to ask for help or feedback at any time.
